- The government is providing $269.5M to support young people and families
- $106.8M to support young people, notably by funding the Plan d’action jeunesse 2024-2029 (youth action plan);
- $68.6M to convert 1,000 non-subsidized childcare spaces into subsidized spaces;
- $89.7M to ensure adequate funding for childcare services;
- $4.4M to amend the eligibility criteria for the supplements for handicapped children under the refundable tax credit providing an allowance to families.
