Recapitalizing the Capital ressources naturelles et énergie fund

The purpose of the Capital ressources naturelles et énergie fund is to support
the development and processing of natural resources, the energy transition and the production of green energy.

So that the Capital ressources naturelles et énergie fund can support more investment projects in the coming years, the government plans, as part of the 2024-2025 budget, to make an additional $500M envelope available to it.

  • These funds will notably support major investment projects, in support of the Quebec strategy for the development of the battery industry and the Quebec Plan for the Development of Critical and Strategic Minerals 2020-2025.
